Position: Field Supervisor
Location: South El Monte, CA
GAMA Contracting Services, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the position of Field Supervisor. As Supervisor you will need to be able to oversee and manage worker crews for ongoing abatement and demolition projects. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work seamlessly with Project Managers and Field Superintendent to obtain production goals. You must be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of clients including property owners, general contractors, suppliers, and consultants. Bi-lingual is a plus. Knowledge of current abatement and demolition procedures is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to travel to various construction site locations throughout Southern California
- Understand and implement project SOW
- Effectively communicate project expectations to work crew members
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts among workers
- Be able to conduct field safety meetings
- Be able to communicate clearly and with details for specific elements of the project when dealing with PM’s and superiors
- Keeping an organized file for each project including: any correspondence, receipts/invoices and any other crucial documents.
- Maintain safety precautions and relay any concerns to PM’s and Field Superintendent
- Comply with all Federal, State, and local legal requirements
- Meet all project deadlines
Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of how to communicate various construction ideas and concepts
- Have an understanding for what safety measures are required
- Must be self-driven and motivated while possessing leadership skills as well
- 5 + years of asbestos abatement and demolition experience
- Knowledge of Asbestos and Lead abatement, Mold Remediation
Position: Field Superintendent

GAMA Contracting Services, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the position of Field Superintendent. As Superintendent you will need to be able to evaluate ongoing abatement and demolition projects to ensure safety, production and customer service. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work seamlessly with Project Managers and Field Supervisors to obtain production goals. You must be able to maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of clients including both Public and Private contracts, general contractors, suppliers, and consultants. Bi-lingual is a plus. Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and bidding are all required for the position, as well as current abatement and demolition procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Spot check projects throughout the entirety of the job
- Occasionally work with PM’s regarding costs and estimates
- Review SOW’s for effective production
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and senior management
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts among team members
- Plan and schedule project timelines if there are production issues
- Be able to communicate clearly and with details for specific elements of the project when dealing with individual clients/contractors
- Keeping an organized file for each project including: any correspondence, receipts/invoices, contracts, biding documents, and any other crucial documents.

GAMA Contracting Services, Inc. is currently seeking candidates for the position of Project Manager. As Project Manager, you will need to be able to organize and coordinate demolition and abatement projects. You will need to reach out to new general contractors, suppliers, and consultants for new and on-going projects. Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and bidding are all required for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects throughout the entirety of the job
- Develop cost estimates and schedules
- Review weekly costs to complete
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and senior management
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts among team members
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Know what goes into a bid package and how to put one together properly
- Be able to communicate clearly and with details for specific elements of the project when dealing with individual clients/contractors
- Keeping an organized file for each project including: any correspondence, receipts/invoices, contracts, biding documents, and any other crucial documents.
